Agricultural Grade Betaine Hydrochloride

Betaine hydrochloride is a general term for a class of organic compounds, also known as betaine hydrochloride. It is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder with a sour taste and hygroscopicity. It is easily soluble in water and ethanol, but difficult to dissolve in ether and chloroform, and reacts with alkali. Betaine hydrochloride has various applications in agriculture, mainly including the following aspects:

1. As an antifreeze: Betaine has the characteristic of preventing low-temperature freezing damage and is widely used in the field of agricultural antifreeze. It can provide sufficient soluble solids for crops, strengthen their resistance to short-term cold, and reduce economic losses caused by freezing damage.

2. As a growth promoting agent: Betaine can also promote crop growth and increase individual plant yield.
